Air Tahiti Nui Wines Honored at the 2026 Wines on the Wing Awards
Air Tahiti Nui once again confirms the excellence of the wine selection offered on board the Tahitian Dreamliner. Recognized at the Wines on the Wing Awards, the airline won the “Best White Wine” titles in both International Business Class and International Premium Economy Class.
The Wines on the Wing Awards are organized by the renowned Global Traveler magazine. Each year, these awards recognize the best selections of wines and champagne served by international airlines in Premium Economy, Business, and First Class. The rankings are based on blind tastings conducted by a jury of sommeliers and wine professionals.
At the 2026 Wines on the Wing Awards, Air Tahiti Nui was pleased to receive two new titles:
- Best White Wine in International Business Class: Lionel Osmin & Cie Clos Cancaillaü Le Dernier Carré, Jurançon 2015.
- Best white wine in international Premium Economy class: Château de Montguéret Petit Saint Louis, Saumur Blanc (deuxième année consécutive)
The panel of experts also recognized Air Tahiti Nui as a finalist in two other categories:
- 2nd place – Best sparkling wine in the international Premium Economy class: Haut-Mouleyre Brut, Crémant de Bordeaux AOP
- 2nd place – Best red wine in the international Premium Economy class: Château Le Vieux Fort Médoc, Cru Bourgeois 2021
These prestigious accolades recognize our teams' dedication to the quality of the products served on board our aircraft. Poerava Business Class’s wine list, in particular, is curated in collaboration with Olivier Poussier, who was crowned World’s Best Sommelier in 2000. His expertise guides the selection of every wine offered in the cabin, tastefully pairing with the dishes served on board. The finest French produce thus accompanies and enhances your flight experience.
“Exceptional wine is an essential part of Air Tahiti Nui's world-class inflight service," said Caroline Borawski, Vice President of the Americas for Air Tahiti Nui. "It's an honor to be recognized by Global Traveler's Wines on the Wing Awards for the care and thought that go into our onboard wine program. Every bottle is selected to complement the journey and help immerse our passengers in the warmth, culture and spirit of France and The Islands of Tahiti.”
These new awards further strengthen the airline’s list of accolades. Last year, Air Tahiti Nui was named Best International Business Class for the excellence of its wine cellar and won three awards for its wines at the 2025 Wine on the Wing Awards.
