Our economy class offers many services

Air Tahiti Nui has built up an international reputation for a high level of comfort with in-flight services on a par with those of the very large airlines but with an added Polynesian flavour.

Welcomed by the intoxicating perfume of the Tiara flower, our airline's emblem, and the very particular resonance of our islands, our passengers discover the warm atmosphere of our islands from the moment they step on board.


Our Economy class, called "Moana" class meets the needs of the majority of our passengers.

With 264 seats, this class has been specially configured for long haul flights. The configuration of seats with the 2-4-2 arrangement has been carefully designed for your comfort and adapted for passengers travelling as a couple. We have taken account of how many of our clients are visiting Tahiti on their honeymoon.

We aim to offer both authentic and contemporary charm.

The wood effect floor gives you the impression you are on the deck of a typical Polynesian bungalow overlooking the sea.

The colours and fabrics conjure up the first sensations of an arrival in Tahiti: the warmth of the wood, the intensity of the blues, the bright light of the isles and the freshness of exuberant vegetation.

Discreet designs are woven into a ceiling of turquoise and royal blues. You could be forgiven for imagining that the hot sand has stolen among the threads of the economy class seat upholstery.

The gap between each row is 81cm. The seats recline to 118° and are 45cm in width, making them among the largest currently available on routes to Tahiti. They are also fitted with USB power outlets.

A travel bag containing a sleep mask, a pair of socks, wax earplugs, a refreshing towel, and earphones will also be available for each passenger.



A range of films, television programmes, music and other entertainments are available on a personal, 9 inch (23cm) touch screen.

The meal service consists of an aperitif, an entree, a choice of two main courses, cheese and a dessert. Hot drinks will also be offered at the end of the meal.

Special meals may be prepared if requested when booking or at least 24 hours before departure.
